Contractor had to dig up the tiles on the floors and they found that there is no proper foundation of concrete or even metal pilings on the floor . The floor is just rubble and stones so if new walls & new tiles were put up, the house may collapse ( worst scenario) or new tiles on the walls will pop up ! Might have to do piling which adds to the costs of reno !!

Condition of the roof of the house means that hacking would have to result in hitting a pillar . The option is to remove the pillar & build a new one ( looks nicer but more costs !) or keep the old pillar and build around the old pillar ( probably cheaper in costs but not so nice looking ).

Monkeys came into my condo after I came back on Monday at 3 pm on the 24 th April through my kitchen window . They broke my window pane and ate all the food it could get their hands on . Monkeys managed to get into my living room and created havoc there . They shitted everywhere so that’s pretty upsetting as I had to clean up and disinfect everything . Stench was horrible ! Monkeys had a gala time and “beraya “in my condo while I was away for Eid in Melaka, oh boy!

Third attempt by the monkeys to come into my kitchen 2 days ago. They broke a third window pane . I feel I under siege by the monkeys. !! I am afraid now to go out to my balconies to water my plants or dry my washing.

A consolation is that I would feel more violated if a burglar broke into my condo than wild animals . I have to get a man to fix a wire mesh on all of my windows to prevent the monkeys coming into my condo . Monkeys seems determined to get into my kitchen . As my contractor say the monkeys remember the tasty food they ate in my condo so they know there is food in my condo !

Fixing the wire mesh for all my windows is going to cost more money !!

I am stressed looking at my dwindling funds $$$$$$ !!
