Before ,the house has pseudo-greek white small pillars . Now, those pillars are no longer there and bricked up so that there is no more of a little verandah and becomes part of the living room . As from the photos above, the living room ( before) had sliding doors . This has been bricked up as shown in the 2 photos . The master bedroom will be directly facing the porch. All pillars of the house will not be serated ( as before) but will be plain . No curvature of the frontage as I prefer straight lines . Just want the house to be in straight lines as in a rectangle-shaped. However, now my contractor tells me that this cannot be done as there are metal rods that support the roof beams , sigh . So if that is so, then the curvature has to remain as it is .

The antique doors cannot be fixed as either front doors or patio doors , drats ! I am asking contractor on whether the antique teak doors can be as sliding doors for bathroom in the main house ( ideally , this would be great ) or as sliding doors for small bathroom for the Rumah Kebun . Not sure whether this is feasible as I got 4 pieces of these doors. Hopefully , the antique doors can be used for the house because I like them especially the old-fashioned frosted glass.
