The tiles I ordered and paid for has arrived from KL to the house . Yay !

The tiles are for the living/dining & kitchen & bathroom in the house . Also, the tiles are for the tiny Kebun House bathroom . I have already bought all of the bathroom accessories and I have made decisions on the type of plug switches for the house .

Tired of making decisions on the house . I have to make a decision on the type of automated gate for the house now . Already bought enough lights for the house and Rumah Kebun , I think . Contractor told me that the roof of the Rumah Kebun was blue/green in color and she gave out to the sub-con because they did not consult her first before putting the roofing . The sub-con guy in Muar told her , owner of the house is Malay so she would like this color to which my contractor refuted him and told him off to never to assume. I did not notice the color of the roofing of the Rumah Kebun because it is not at my eye level when I was visiting the house in Muar. Contractor told me my taste is not so-Malay ( hmmm….wonder what that means ..) and this is evident from my furnishings in my condo. I did not know that Malays have a distinctive taste in colors and furnishings . I am aware that colors have a symbolic meaning for cultures in Malaysia for example Chinese like red especially for Chinese New Year as this symbolizes prosperity and good luck blah blah blah but obviously this goes to furnishings and decor too , I guess . I told the contractor , that I want the house to be plain & simple , no blink blink , no fussy details but real materials like wood , stainless steel and contractor told me ,” Yeah, I understand that but plain & simple means expensive !!!” Ha ha ha ……… oh well… No wonder, I have done a spreadsheet on Excel of my expenses of the house and I was aghast at the figures of the amounts I am spending on the house ! Been trying to record all of my expenditure of the house on a spreadsheet but yet to attach the receipts in a file so that I know exactly how much I am spending ( there was a budget but I busted my budget, big time !! ) and to what . I am not as meticulous as I should be . My younger brother , Mi is excellent at developing spreadsheets on Excel and at doing the sums . He is an engineer by profession but could be an accountant too , I reckon.
