I gave her photos 1 & 2 for the patio doors at the back that looks out to the kebun . She gave me photo 3 and asked me is this ok . I told her , I would rather have either photo 1 or photo 2 for patio doors . She countered and then said ” security would be an issue “. I told her even with Photo 3 of squares and glass in-between for the patio doors , security will still be an issue . She replied and said to me ” , I know , you sure “tak suka” “( do not like ) photo 3 but I am just trying my luck “. She is so cute , ha ha ha

The unfortunate fact about Malaysia is that break-ins are so frequent & common even in relatively quiet Muar . Hence, I need to install grills and photo 1 , is the most feasible option because the doors open inwards so that if grills are installed then I can open the patio doors without needing to unlock the grills . I personally, do not like grills because they look unbecoming and the grills blocks a clear view of the kebun & the trees from the kitchen and living room. I have to install grills at the windows too .However, I have no choice but to install grills and cc cameras around the house . This means I have to bear extra costs for security & installing internet because the security works on the Internet . Installing internet is fine , though as Internet is like a necessity nowdays unless one becomes like my dad’s friend ,Derek .
