There is only one bathroom in the house which is in-between two bedrooms of the house. I did not take photos of the bedrooms in the house but the 2 bedrooms are a good size as I can probably fit a king-size bed in the master bedroom . A queen size bed can also probably fit into the second bedroom . The bathroom in the house is designed to be elderly friendly as to be accessible by wheelchair for my old age ha ha ha . Therefore, the doors of the bathroom need to be wide enough to be able to allow a wheelchair to pass through easily . Also, there is ample space in the middle of the bathroom to manoeuvre a wheelchair to get to the stone bench.

The left photo above shows the one side of the bathroom which has the stone bench for sitting down. Ideally , then you can sit down and shower . The shower accessories & toilet have not been installed yet . The layout of space for the shower and the toilet is tight because there needs to be a shower screen so that water does not splash on the toilet when showering . The left photo shows the ramp from master bedroom to the bathroom but no ramp from the second bedroom into the bathroom which is fine .

The lights have been fixed in the locations of the house but some minor adjustments to be made . I have another glass pendant light but I need to tell the contractor where to fix that. Bought all the lights online , the 2 pendant lights were bought online while I was in Bahrain because I liked em ! I nearly forgot about em lights to be honest as told the retailer to keep them till I got back to Malaysia. The wall scones were bought online on a website in which I need to write a product review . I thought that I would take a good photo of the wall scones and then write a review of those lights . Those lights were shipped from Hong Kong ( China ). They look great ! I need to go to the house at night because with the eye-ball lights makes the house brightly lit-up. My aunt who came with me to the house sums it up perfectly to the contractor about my purchases especially on the antique teak doors which is ” I like em , I buy them , now you just fix it ! ” ha ha ha . The contractor has got to make a metal track for the antique teak doors ( there are 4 pieces ) to be like a barnyard doors for the bathroom doors .

The interlocking bricks ( patio ) is sloping because there is higher level ( about the height of 1 brick ) from the house to the ground . This connects the house to the Rumah Kebun and to the Kebun . I need to install grills for the French doors, front door & the windows , sigh , Need to install CC TV too , sigh .
What is worrying is that the porch of the house is sinking slowly ( hopefully ) because of the shoddy build because no metal rods or concrete was used . I should have taken a photo of the porch as there is water ( due to rain ) stagnant in the folds ( sigh) of the tiles of the porch . This can eventual lead to cracks in the porch tiles over time . This is going to cost me more money to fix it as a long term remedy !
Will blog on the tiling in progress of the house. The timber herringbone pattern of the bedrooms are the last to do with the doors and kitchen layout .
