The kitchen backsplash has been tiled with the hood ( extractor) installed and open shelves . The backsplash is from leftover tiles that was used for the reno work at my second bathroom in my condo . I am trying to use whatever materials I have leftovers for the Muar house mainly 1) saves costs ( I hope to save costs is more like it )2) remainder materials have been laying there at my condo taking up space & are unused .

The contractor will do up the bottom part hopefully in stainless steel because this is easy to clean . I do not want anything expensive as a counter top or for shelves . Prefer open shelves as then I can see what I have . The sink should be under the window so that it looks out to the Kebun at the back ( suggestion given by my dear Aunt . Thank you , Mak Yah )The kitchen was suppose to be just a bar but changed my mind and made the kitchen L-shaped .

I have to dry clean the leftover blinds I have leftover , remnants from my condo .There are 4 pieces and I can only use 2 pieces for the Muar house . This is because the 2 pieces of blinds length and width is too short . I have to pull the blind down , release the 2 knotted strings at the back. After that I need to pull the blinds gently so that it will be detached from the Velcro ( instructions from the blinds lady ) . I am just too lazy now to do this so the box of blinds is laying still in my condo . When the blinds are detached from the strings then only can I bring the blinds to the dry cleaners to be cleaned before I can use it . Then , got to get someone in Muar to fix the blinds ….. so many things to do , finding all this overwhelming .

Bought the lacy curtains in India ages ago . Now , I remember the name of the store , “Good Earth”. The shop does sell online also. The pattern of the 2 sets of curtains don’t match but does the curtains need to be “matchy-matchy” ?? The curtain needs a curtain rod but I will think later where I can hung them in the house . Maybe , need to browse the online shop and see whether they got the same lacy curtains but I doubt it as I bought the curtains quite a few years back. Been online and the store got lovely lacy curtains . Maybe needs to wait till I go to India.The Good Earth store was lovely in Bangalore . I remember I bought the lacy curtains because I could not resist buying them . The store also sell clothes but much too expensive as all Indian designers , lovely shop though ..
