The installers have come to install the timber flooring of the bedrooms . The timber is African Teak so hopefully that looks nice . I have not gone back to Muar because my schedule for the month of August is pretty tight . I am checking my September schedule but that seems to be filling up pretty quickly with work engagements too !

The pattern is herringbone . I have chosen option 2 , think this looks nicer . I need to check my spreadsheets in terms of costings for the house . I paid separately for the timber flooring for the bedrooms . Ideally, I would like timber flooring for the living room , dining and kitchen too but 1) too prohibitive in terms of costs 2) timber flooring requires care and in tropical climates this requires treatments for termites . I had got anti-termite treatment company to treat and get rid of the termites before the house was renovated . That is why I am unable to use the original doors of the house as these doors were half-eaten by termites. I need to check the anti-termite agreement with the company in terms of years and how often anti-treatment visits are done .
