Muar Day Trip on Saturday

Drove to Muar last Saturday with my aunt ( she left her husband behind ha ha ha ) to meet the CCTV man . The CCTV man is from Muar so that’s good as I can contact him in Muar if anything is amiss . The CCTVs for the house is hooked on an apps on my mobile phone so that I can see the house where ever I am .

There are 4 CCTVs cameras , 2 CCTVs in front of the house and 2 CCTVs at the back of the house as this gives an aerial view of the whole house as below:

The front road is quite a busy road as this road leads to Parit Jawa . From Parit Jawa the road leads to Batu Pahat .I reckon if anyone wants to break into the house , this will be from the main road. The neighbor on the right , has no fencing to his house so someone could easily come in . I have no photo of this but I will take a photo of this the next time I am in the Muar house .
The grills have not been done for the house . According to Mike ( the sub-con man ) who we met at the Muar house, grills will only be installed by end of December , 2023. The kitchen is still not done yet as well . I cannot move any furniture or items in the house till the grills are installed . We searched for a curtain shop in Muar and got lost because both of us ( My aunt & I ) are hopeless at finding our way with Google Maps . We did eventually , find a curtain shop and managed to get the fabric for blinds & lace curtains chosen . The man from the curtain shop came to the house to actually measure all the windows . However, this is a busy season for the curtains shop as Hari Raya and CNY coincides almost on the same dates , the shop can only do the blinds & curtains for the frontage of the house. The rest of the blinds of the house can only be done after CNY which is fine .
For this day trip , we also managed to do a quick visit to Bakri graveyard to say our short prayers & doa’s to my grandparents ( my aunt’s and my dad’s parents) and to another aunt ( who I cannot remember because she died at childbirth and I was too young to remember her but my cousin’s Salleh’s mother ). Got bitten by “kerengga” ( weaver ants) at the graveyard . These ants climbed into my baju ( dress) and bit me !! Geez ! My aunt was pretty nifty at the graveyard because she did not want any encounter with any iguanas on the trees ( they can climb the trees )because she is frightened of them ! Ha ha ha ….. I do not blame her either because I am frightened of them too .
