The kitchen of the house is taking shape . The kitchen has open shelving and stainless steel. You would think that this would be cheap but this is not ! But It is probably cheaper than having Nytoh wood shelving for the kitchen though .

I hope that the kitchen will be ok . The stainless steel is customized to the dimensions of the kitchen in the house . The backsplash will be like the above photo . I choose stainless steel & open shelves because 1) should be easy to maintain 2) easy to wipe 3) not too expensive but finding out that is not cheap either 4) open shelves because then it is an open pantry and I can see food there is . The disadvantage of stainless steel is 1) surface can have scar marks 2) open shelves means everything needs to be arranged neatly .

I have requested that there will be an outdoor sink for the Rumah Kebun with some sort of shelving . Let’s see how this will turn out . Outdoor sink and shelves for Rumah Kebun so that the Rumah Kebun can be self-contained .

Hopefully the kitchen will be done before Chinese New Year as I need the blinds to be ready after Chinese New Year . Only after the blinds are ready then only can I transfer some furniture items from my dad’s house in PJ to the Muar house.
