Since I was transporting the stainless steel kitchen back to Muar, there was space in the lorry to carry other items . The lorry by Lala Move was a 5 ton lorry so that Saturday I had to go to the PJ house to get some items of furniture to be placed in the lorry as there was enough space .

I had to be really early at the PJ house that Saturday as the lorry was coming at 7 am . I had to select which pieces of furniture I wanted to be transported as well. Besides those items in the photo’s above , I took a coffee table , a desk that I had restored earlier that belong to Ajid’s , a small side table and a sofa that was mine from the PJ house . I do not intend to buy any new furniture if possible but the electrical appliances are new .

The mattress for king size bed was left in the PJ house . My contractor says the mattress was too dirty but I need to take a careful look to see whether it is serviceable and still usable . A good new mattress will cost a lot to buy so need to factor this in .

I will probably need another trip with the lorry from PJ & my condo to Muar to transport other items . I will take my time on this as some items needs to be upholstered ( the chairs, for example ) and fixed before I can do that . This is the basics that I have will be probably be enough to make the house habitable ( not for rental short term ) but to stay in for a night or two in Muar for the time being when the Roman blinds are up .
