Got the contractor to figure out and re-set the SMART Door .This means that I can set the temporary password to allow anyone to enter the house . This is configured either by using 1) the Internet or 2) by not using the Internet but through my apps on my mobile .

The installer had to fix the bathroom doors . This is because the lock of the swing doors operates like barn doors & needs to be wider to allow wheel chair access . There is a ramp from the master bedroom to the bathroom.

The doors are actually teak antique screen dividers in older houses as I bought the screen dividers at an antiques yard . Initially the screen dividers could not be doors because of strip of wood is too thin . Managed to fix the doors as barnyard doors as can be seen in the photo above.

The lights scones are hung too low . The contractor has got to lengthen the height of the lights scones at the walls . This will probably require hacking of the walls , sigh .

The top of the walls were purposely build in such a way so that there is more light coming into the open space area . This involves using nyatoh wood to line the glass at the top of the walls . Contractor says that this is the first time that she has done that in a house. She thinks my house is “Mat Salleh ” ( western ) in design ha ha ha . Hmmm… not sure whether I should take that as a compliment or otherwise.

Now, is to get the quote for hacking of the walls , cleaning of the house and putting up the blinds . I need to do this after CNY .
