Chaing Mai – short break during Eid Fitri , Day 1

Went to Chaing Mai for a couple of nights, just to chill with nothing planned in the itinenary .

Hotel we stayed in

We had a balcony facing this view so its quite nice . Since we had nothing planned for the day ,after breakfast we had a little stroll  at the Soi next to the hotel. The hotel is in the old city so its strategically located with many restaurants & shops , how nice !! We went to this rather nice shop next door & bought stuff, oops !!

We wandered into another smaller hotel at the Soi next door . Rather interesting hotel, much smaller than the hotel we are staying in because this hotel had no swimming pool but has a bonus of a library on the second floor .

I must say I like the wooden furniture . Think people have craftmanship here as the wooden furniture is tastefully done . Like one or two pieces of furniture .
