Day 2 Trip to Muar with Mazni dated 24 July , 2024

Day 2 in Muar starts with Encik Rahman coming to the house after the termites man left the house . This was  about noon time . The two cleaners were already in the house .

Encik Rahman showed me the kebun behind the house.

Langsats are in season and fruiting
At least 5 trees were fruiting in the kebun at the back of the house
Got Encik Rahman to collect some langsats to bring home

Then we went to see the other kebun at Sg.Sudah . This kebun is  oil palm kebun which will take another 2 years to bear fruits .

We  had lunch at Parit Jawa , Asam Pedas place. Muar is also famous for Asam Pedas . The asam pedas place is at a river where fishing boats were docked before heading out to sea. The sea is the Straits of Malacca as there is no beach in this part of Johor but mangrove swamps .

We were hungry so lunch was great . Asam pedas with fish was delicious as the fish for the asam pedas was the catch of the day . After lunch we went back to the house as I had to supervise the cleaners that is to tell the cleaners whatelse needs to be cleaned .

Got the cleaners to pick the belimbing for me as just too hot outside . The cleaners picked up the langsats too as there were plenty .

Told Encik Rahman to sell the langsats if he can.
