Ok so we are trapped in this restaurant as its just too hot outside . Left Muar around 9’ish am. Took a slow drive using the old road to Melaka . Parked the car at a public car park across the Hotel Casa del Rio and walked to Heeren Street which less than 2 mins walk . Heeren Street is an old street in the heritage center of Melaka . Dripping with sweat by the time we reached Heeren Street .

Saw a few big jars with dragons  that I liked but not cheap , sigh . This antique shop has been there for 115 years and now belongs to 4th generation of owners .

Had a good lunch with Mazni who adamantly refuses to walk outside due to the midday sun !!  Its been very hot outside . No rain for the past 3 days . Went and visited this old house turned into a private museum , The Malaqa House. The house belonged to a family and typical of old houses of those days with a center courtyard and high ceilings . Liked the house .

Drove back to Muar using the old road which is always pleasant . That took an hour . We were done for the day as the heat had defeated us .
