Drove alone to Muar on Saturday morning . I was suppose to go with a friend but she had something at work last minute . That’s ok because these things happen . Left my condo at Templers at 8 am and arrived in the Muar house at 10. 30 am so the journey took me 2 hours 30 minutes straight drive without any stops . Traffic fortunately, was smooth .

First thing to do was to call the technician for the ceiling fans as they were making a noise. There were 2 ceiling fans that were making a racket ; one in the master bedroom and one in the dining room.

The fans no longer make a noise now as the technician came and fixed it as well as making sure that the fans are safe to be used.

Now the fans are fairly quiet and safe ! I do not sleep with AC in the bedroom all night. Just use the AC to cool down the room and then use the ceiling fan for the rest of the night . I could not sleep with the noise of the ceiling fan in the master bedroom ( where I was sleeping ) so now that’s fixed. The technician from Panasonic was contemptuous of my contractor’s work of fixing the fans . He was videoing while calling her when he was fixing the fans. Think this is probably because of the fixing of the ceiling fans were not done properly especially on fixing the safety screws . The technician told this to me at great lengths ! He went on to say ” What la KL contractor like this blah blah blah … ” Ooops ! My contractor was shamed faced on this afterwards ha ha ha . Glad that was solved anyway.

After this , met Encik Rahman to see the kebun at Parit Bakar but I forgot to bring my phone so did not take photos of the kebun . Encik Rahman sold the langsats for RM90 from the kebun at the back of the house .

There were 4 Mata Kuching Trees in front of the house but had to cut down two trees because the roots of the trees were invasive and the roots were coming into the drainage of the house .

Told Encik Rahman to prune the trees as you can see the overhanging branches were damaging the fence . I do not have a pruner . Garden of the house is next year’s project .

I had a meet-up with an old friend who happens to live in Muar . She is living with her daughter and her family . Her daughter is working as a doctor in the Muar District Hospital . I have known Linda for 30 over years. It was really good to see her. I had dinner with her at Harb’s Cafe at Jalan Abdullah, the main drag of Muar town ha ha. Had a good rib-eye steak and Linda had lamb for dinner. It was very good to catch-up with her as not seen her for a long time .

I have discovered where 4 Fingers is and McD’s are located in Muar so now I need to find the supermarket .Sent Linda home and her daughter’s house is like maybe 10 minutes away from my house . Everything is like 10 minutes away in Muar. What a contrast to KL !

That ends my day.
