I did the most important errand today . This is to go to the Pejabat Tanah to collect documents on behalf of my brother . I did this within 20 minutes ha ha ha . Drove to Pejabat Tanah in Muar at 8 am and was able to find parking in the compound which is a feat as limited parking . Suspect, this is because I was able to do this because I was early .Collection of the documents took 5 minutes !

Did nothing much today except for working on my laptop . I have tested the new AC and TV , both works fine . Tested the oven too which is also fine , so far . Got the cleaners to come on Sunday so the house is very clean. I should cook something on the stove but I am not in the mood . Too much testing of new electrical appliances going on !

I have nothing to feed the cat because I have not bought any groceries . I need to find a supermarket for that . Haven’t gone out to find a local Lotus supermarket yet.

Managed to find a local carpenter for those 2 pieces of furniture , Yay ! He lives at Parit Sakai Tengah which is near to my house. Wei Wei , my new friend got me his contact because he came next door to fix her mother’s cupboard . So now I have to arrange Lalamove as the 2 pieces are in my late aunt’s house in Johore Bahru . Rang my cousin Ati and she says she will arrange for this . I will pay for the transportation cost from Johore Bahru to Muar. This man has a small workshop which looks interesting as got all sorts of furniture. I am not sure whether he lives at his workshop as its also a wooden house .

I had a few productive days being in Muar. I need to spend longer in Muar to be familiar with the going-ons . Muar is very, very quiet at night . Thank Gawd for the TV !
