I basically just worked on my laptop . Had so much to do in terms of work .
My daily routine since being in Muar has been to walk outside my gates onto the road to buy lunch at 11am. It’s more brunch as I skip breakfast so this is the road stall that I buy it from . It’s a small stall with just a few dishes with a small dine in area . So far , no diarrhea as the stall has got tap (running) water . Its a good enough meal. The stall looks clean as I am too lazy to cook ! I have bought no groceries as well to cook anything with.
I have ventured and bought satay in another stall before this one. Satay is good as tasty and cheaper than the satay I buy in KL . Bought dinner of satay last night and the gravy was great ( a bit sweet but good nevertheless ).This other stall only operates after 5 pm till 10 pm for dinner .
There is another shop that sells all types of nasi byrani ( lamb, mutton , beef & chicken ) but I haven’t tried that yet . There is a quaint breakfast place that I can drive to in a small lorong with trees around it . I see many people having breakfast there so maybe next time ! Actually, feel alienated in this kampung setting , a realization that has dawned on me that I am a city girl !
I have to come back to Muar as I got to solve the mattress problem for my bedroom ha ! Also, there is another cat ( a fat cat ) sauntering around in my garden , see it often hmmmm…..
Time to pack my bags and drive back today . Not too bad a trip this time .
