Just to recollect some of the restoration that I have done on pieces of furniture for the Muar house .

The cane arm chair is I believe in the furniture from the 1970’s . The golden brass bed is my sis’s wedding bed . The bed was a present from my parents to her for her wedding . She has been married for 40 years so the bed is 40 years old . The restorer had to re-paint the flowers as it was faded

Restored the 6 chairs were Isobel’s great grandfather’s , they are Scottish because Isobel’s father is Scottish . The one  tumbtack missing on 3 of chairs as the restorer told me that he was unable to find replica ones . Also, he just cleaned up the vintage leather as the leather was scruffed . He could not find vintage leather to replace but the chairs are sturdy and looks great .

I have not collected the coffee table from the restorer yet . He has 4 pieces with him that I have not collected yet .

I have tried to re-use my parent’s furniture or whatever is in the PJ house .  Hope not to buy any new furniture if that is possible .
