Went on Saturday to PJ house to get the carpet . I had to ask Munirah to come along as I needed her help to get the carpet into the car . The carpet was heavy . I could not carry it on my own.

We drove  to the shop at Jalan Klang Lama . The shop was  in an old semi-detached house . The cleaning services were recomended by my restorer . The cleaning services shop specializes in cleaning carpets & curtains .

The uncle ( he is his 70’s as I asked him how old he is ) who is the owner of this cleaning services ,told me he cleaned the curtains of   Prime Minister’s official house, Sri Perdana . He showed me a newspaper clipping of this . He gave me an invoice which he typed on a typewriter !!  Nobody types anymore on a typewriter .

Let’s see after the carpet has been cleaned , how it looks like .
