My humble house

Arranging Furniture in the house -1st Nov 2024

Got 2 Cleaners  to come to the house . I could ask for these 2 girls to arrange the furniture & carpets after the house was clean . I could not manage to do this on my own .

Used my mum’s table cloth , the table cloth hasa nice cutwork on it . Old table cloth that my dad bought for my mum in HK
Coffee Table being used. The pc is for the cc cameras.

Able to get some order in the living room but not quite done.

Bought the carpet when in Egypt but now looks small hmmm..

The living room not quite done to my satisfaction but livable , I guess . I need to buy

  1. Queen size matress & bed frame for second bedroom
  2. Day bed for rumah kebun
  3. Maybe a 3 seat sofa bed for living room – saw one I liked in IKEA . However , IKEA charges for outstation delivery & installation so have to think this over in terms of costs and whether its worthwhile .

The contractor came to do the finishing touches to the house like sanding & painting the wall lights etc . Went to see the kebun at the back of the house with Encik Rahman too . Had a quick look and got spare keys for the gate leading to the kebun and the garden shed . Trying to abstain from buying any new furniture and basically anything new until I necessarily have to .

Bought this small carpet at Saqarra , step pyramids as this is where it was made .

Got some furniture sorted out so the house is more habitable . I went to see the carpenter at Parit Sakai Tengah as well to check on progress of the crockery cupboard. Will blog on this next .
