My humble house

I did not realize that my last posting was in Jan 2025 , 3 months ago !

Since this coming Monday 12 May, 2025  is Vesak Day which is a national public holiday , and I had a Thursday off then I decided to drive off to Muar on my own. I was given a Thursday off due to the university convocation that lasted for 5 days from Saturday , 3 May 2025 till Wednesday , 7 May, 2025

My cousin , Dato Ahmad Farhan who is the VC for Universiti Putra Malaysia who sits as the Board of Directors at my university with me at the convocation at PWTC on the first day of the convocation ceremony on Saturday, 3 May 2025.

Traffic was ok driving to Muar on Thursday as I would think since Monday is a public holiday , traffic heading south will be worst on Friday afternoon . I need to post more often to document on what’s been going on in relation to the house in Muar

The orchids were given to me by Lesley when I went for my late friend’s Florence memorial in Miri in July 2024 . Lesley gave me the orchids from her garden. Thank-you Lesley and no , they are not dead yet . The orchids seems to be growing , hopefully.

The trees need trimming . I have told Encik Rahman to do that but he can only do it on Wednesday . I thought he wanted to trim the trees on Monday morning so I will stay in Muar till then . Since , he cannot do it as his Indonesian worker is not back yet so it’s no point for me to stay on in Muar . I might as well go back to home by Monday morning so hopefully the traffic will not be so bad .
