Fans & carpenter at the house

I have bought 5 fans from the shop in Muar . This includes 4 normal size fans and 1 baby fan for the Rumah Kebun which is slightly more expensive than the normal size fans . Bought a cooker hood , a cooker with 2 burners and an oven .That is for the kitchen. One of the fans were not working so hoping that this is sorted out with the shop and the sub-con guy , Mark who is staying at the house . The warranty card is missing so I sure hope that the shop will overlook this and get another replacement for the non-working fan . This is the problem when I am not there physically to receive the electrical goods , items such as warranty cards gets missing .

In the left-hand side of the photo , as can be seen , the slates for the bedrooms and bathrooms will be wood-framed with glass. This will ensure that more light will penetrate. I just do not like dark houses . The carpenter coming to Muar this Tuesday to fix the doors , bathroom cabinets and the kitchen . I want open shelving because then I can see what I have rather than closed shelves .

Contractor will make metal track like barnyard doors for the only one bathroom in the house . The antique teak doors can be used yay! Unfortunenly, I cannot use the industrial lights because of the sockets are old . I need to restore those first before I can fix it to the walls of the house .

There is a lesson learnt here : I should not buy anything antique unless I restore them first because it cannot be used otherwise . So there is added cost of price of the antique + costs of restoring = to make it work ! Therefore, buying antiques items means factoring not only the price but the cost of restoring them . The industrial lights are nice as they are encased in glass but the sockets needs to be replaced. Newer lights the same as these are usually in encased in plastic not in glass.
