We went walking around Burano Island with Ann, Rahiyah and Hannah. We took our time as the island is not very big .

Its a narrow house with a small living room downstairs with a sofa bed. One bedroom upstairs where there is a double bed where Rahiyah and I are staying . Then there is attic with a intimidating staircase ( will try to photograph the staircase ) which is Ann’s bedroom

Lidia, the lace making shop has a wonderful collection of lace in which of course I am tempted to buy !! Burano is well known for lace making but of course there is a difference between hand made and machine and Ann can tell the difference because she is a lacemaker .

Off on the vaperetto to the next island of Torcello .

Ate seafood at Torcello which was pretty good . Then had a walk around tiny island. Torcello is the earliest island to be habitated of all the Venetian Islands. There was a museum and you can with a fee , climb up the tower which I did not do.

The lady has been to Malaysia so instead of charging me €45 charged me instead €48. She said she ate good crabs in Melaka haha

Its a bit cooler now as its evening at 6.52 pm . We are just sitting on a bench facing the water and the main island of Venice. Its been a lovely day !
