Today, we are just chilling . Had a leisurely breakfast at home . Since, the sky was overcast, we decided to take a little walk along the main drag of Burano to the little square where there is a church. Around the corner , we went to visit the Lace Museum.

Burano is course famous for lace making . The lace museum is one of 3 museums in the Venetian islands .The other one is the Glass museum in Murano and the third museum is on Torcello island which is a tiny island next to Burano. The good thing is that I get 50% of the price pf museum tickets being above 65 years old haha .Origins of lace making started at around 16 Century , according to my readings .

Then we had a snack of cichetta and cool drinks . We went into this bar that at the back there was a long courtyard garden.

Then we took a walk at 6 pm.across the wooden bridge to the next island, Mazzorbo . There was a walled garden with allotments and a vinyard .

We took.a walk around the walled garden. There is a restaurant in the garden .

It was cooler to walk by evening. It ws a pleasant walk and the walled garden was unexpected to be on an island in the Venetian lagoon.
