We did nothing much except walk around the beautiful, beautiful shops in Venice . The products in the shops here are really so beautifully displayed and showcased . They are small shops not big department stores .

Bought my self a hair clip that was suppose to be made from organic resin rather than plastic. Liked that shop too because they had besides various hair combs & clips for ladies , different little combs for men goatees and beards ! Was tempted to buy a hand made hair clip but beautifully made priced at € 45 . Thought that was a bit too much to pay for a hair clip , beautiful though it was !! After that we went to have gelato ( of course ! ) at the best gelato in Venice, Nico Gelateria . Per scoop was €2.50 which is standard price for a scoop of ice cream.

Took the vaporetto back via another way to San Marco then we went to the infamous Rialto Bridge to look at the shops.

We walked around the bridge , browsing the shops. Think I have bought enough!!

We took the vaporetto and went back to St.Marks or San Marco piazza.

The weather was a bit too hot actually but we could at the steps and listen to the music as there were bands playing outside of restaurants for their customers.

This is the last day for us in Venice. Tomorrow Ann & Hannah will take a flight to go back to Dublin. Rahiyah and myself will continue to Bologna .

Did I like Venice ? I liked Burano and Murano islands very much . It was very peaceful after 6 pm , after all the day trippers have gone . Venice is a beautiful city but very touristy so I am not liking the crowds. However, Venice as a city would not be alive today without tourists. So my feelings are mixed in terms of Venice proper as its crowded with tourists and yet very beautiful nevertheless.
